Chromebook PROTECTION PLAN

Chromebook Protection Plan

NOTE: The window for purchasing the Protection Plan for the 2020-2021 school year has CLOSED. It will be reopened if we need to have elementary students do distance learning with school Chromebooks.

Fergus Falls Public Schools' Chromebook Protection Plan covers all accidental breakages or device failures for the duration of the school year. This $25 per year plan covers one child and the Chromebook assigned to him/her. Purchase additional plans for each additional child assigned a Chromebook.

Please note it does NOT cover theft or loss of either the Chromebook or the power cord.

All students in grades 7-12 have been assigned a Chromebook and can take advantage of the Plan. K-6 distance learners are also eligible. If we are forced to do hybrid or distance learning with elementary students, the enrollment window will be re-opened for K-6 families to enroll.

Purchase the Chromebook Protection Plan from our School Store. Fall 2020 Plan enrollment has ended. If elementary students are shifted to distance learning, those families will have an opportunity to opt into the Plan at that time.

IF YOU PAID FOR SPRING 2020, YOU ARE COVERED FOR THE ENTIRE 2020-2021 YEAR.

How do I know if I purchased it? I don't remember!

Log into your ParentVUE account, and go to each child's STUDENT INFO page. There you will see a Y if you have paid for the Plan for that child.

Students not covered by the plan with have an N, or will be blank.
