MSHSL Important Message Regarding Fall Activities for the 2020-21 School Year
The Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) has announced the following offerings for high school fall sports:
Girls Tennis (7-12), Girls Swimming & Diving (7-12), Boys and Girls Cross Country (7-12), and Boys and Girls Soccer (7-12).
The above sports have been approved for play with some limitations and restrictions based on MN Health Guidelines. Games and travel will be limited to Conference schedules only. Sports will be allowed 1-2 games/competition events per week with no limitations on practice at this time. More information on what the postseason will look like is still to come.
MSHSL fall sports Football and Volleyball will not have a fall competition season as they have been moved to a modified Spring Season. More information on what that will look like to come at a later date. Additionally a fall waiver has been passed so these sports will have access to coaches similar to the summer months.
View more information from the MSHSL Board of Directors meeting regarding Fall Return to Participation.
COVID-19 Update: ** Students choosing the distance learning option for this school year are still eligible to participate in activities. If we reach Tier 5 and distance learning is mandatory for all students, activities will be postponed.
